Bruce Ovenden created Better Built Builders Pty Ltd in 2006, after working along side his step-father Peter Winser (of Peter Winser Builders Pty Ltd) for over 15 years. Bruce gained valuable knowledge from Peter who had been building on the beaches for more than 4 decades. Prior to completing his Carpentry certificate and following on with his Building Certificate, Bruce had trained as an Electrician. The opportunity became available to Bruce to work in the family business and he jumped at the chance to become a carpenter. Whilst completing his second trade, Bruce used his Electrical skills on the job site as well as on weekends.
