General Music

General Music is a class that will look to answer the question, "why do we study music?" This class will study the elements of music, and conduct a comprehensive analysis of how music has evolved from the Middle Ages to the present. This class is open to any student at Betsy Layne High School who is interested in learning about music. The goals of this course is to help students be able to read, and discuss music using proper vocabulary and knowledge of music history.
