Better Standards for e-Health B.V.  (in short: betse-health) is a private limited liability company directly linked to trace-health. We share the same philosophy, but serve a different purpose. Betse-Health's purpose is to enable a diverse group of standards experts to participate, under contract with betse-health, in a variety of (European) projects, without their own organisations having to go through the process of becoming an official beneficiary of such a project. A number of experts on e-Health standards are employed by organisations that have limited interest in official participation in standards development, whereas the experts themselves and the (global) e-Health standards community value their contribution. Hence this vehicle to enable expert participation to produce better standards for e-Health.
