WHO WE ARE

A message from Pastor Craigon Blankenship:

Welcome to our local congregation of followers of Jesus nestled in the heart of Westville, SC. Our mission is to exalt and honor Jesus Christ in all that we do, striving to embody His love and share it with our community and beyond. Guided by the teachings of Matthew 28:19-20, we are committed to making disciples locally, nationally, and globally.

Join us every Sunday as we gather for Sunday School Small Groups at 9:30 a.m., followed by corporate worship at 10:30 a.m. Our worship style is a harmonious blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs, all aimed at magnifying the greatness of God. Our sermons are firmly rooted in the timeless truths of God’s Word. We offer ministries tailored to every stage of life, including senior adults, middle-aged individuals, young adults, youth, and children. Opportunities for service abound both within our church community and through outreach initiatives in our local area, including partnerships with schools and community events.

Although we may be a smaller congregation, our vision is grand as we seek to impact God’s kingdom in significant ways. We invite you to join us in this journey of faith, service, and discipleship.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

What we believe matters, and Bethany Westville has firm convictions. We are a conservative Southern Baptist church. We believe that the Bible is authoritative and sufficient for all matters of faith and practice. We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son who died and rose again to make a way for sinful people to have an eternal relationship with the Heavenly Father. We believe that the church is God’s chosen instrument to make Christ known in this broken world. We believe that someday Jesus will return to this earth for His people to be with His people forever.

As a cooperating Southern Baptist Church, we affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as our statement of faith.
