Bethany Austhof is a fourth year Ph.D. candidate at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Bethany is in the department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, getting her degree in theoretical computer science under the advisement of Lev Reyzin. Bethany's mathematical interests include machine learning and combinatorics. Outside of math Bethany enjoys making art, particularly combining new media and sculptural techniques.
