Here at Bethany…

We believe that each person is uniquely created by God in His image. We were made to serve Him and in serving Him, serve others.

We believe that

1. The Bible was divinely written by men who were directed by God and to be lived by 2 Tim 3:15-16

2. Trinity: John 10:30, 38; 14:16, 26

3. Salvation is through Jesus, God’s Son , by the confessing of sins and turning from sin

Rom. 3:23; 6:23; Rom 10:9, 10

4. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit at salvation and His continual work in our lives

Jn 14:16, Gal 5:25

5. Baptism as a testimony of your salvation in Jesus Matt. 28:19

6. The baptism of the Holy Spirit Acts 2:4

7. The gifts of the Holy Spirit as evident in I Corinthians 12-14

8. Membership is considered after a year of attendance. We believe that this is to be taken through prayer and consideration of God’s will for your life. However, you are encouraged to become involved in areas of ministry after attending for at least six months and taking I AM A Church Member class.

Note: Anyone wanting to help in children’s and youth ministry needs to go through a separate interview, and background check before you are able to work in these ministries.
