Beta Epsilon Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is located in Region X of The North Carolina State Organization. The chapter includes committed, distinguished educators from Gaston County and surrounding areas.

Because Each Touch Another
Western Carolina Relief Supporting Johnston Elementary School in Asheville, North Carolina.
Beta Epsilon Chapter’s Spring Outreach Project was collecting items for Johnston Elementary School in Asheville, NC. Johnston Elementary School has approximately 200 students, which includes two Head Start classrooms and grades kindergarten through four. Their students represent many different countries and languages and this diversity is what makes Johnston Elementary School a special place to learn. The school, like so many other schools and communities, suffered great loss from Hurricane Helene and we look forward to adopting this school in the mountains. Our chapter collected donated items at our March 17th chapter fundraiser event. President Dawn Emory delivered items to the school prior to attending the Leadership Conference. The image to the right shows Dawn giving the donated items to Johnston Elementary School’s Assistant Principal Shannon Davis.
