My first impressions of this bread machine are great. The construction seems very solid and nothing feels flimsy or underbuilt. Our first loaf of bread came out beautifully! We did the basic recipe, medium size, and medium color. We didn't have high-gluten bread flour as recommended and just used all-purpose flour. The crust was a lovely, even golden color and was firm without being hard. Inside, the crumb was absolutely gorgeous - even, delicately soft, and cut very smoothly. It made the most wonderful toast for breakfast this morning! I might decrease the recommended amount of salt slightly next time, but otherwise, the recipe produced a loaf with great flavor.
