Best Free Traffic Sources

What do bloggers want?

More Traffic!

Not just any traffic, they want targeted traffic. Targeted traffic consists of visitors arriving at a website

who have already expressed an interest in the website's subject.

Every website needs a regular flow of targeted web traffic to be successful online. So, here's my list of
the best free traffic sources to generate traffic for your blog. Some of these traffic sources will provide instant traffic to your blog, and others will take some time to produce traffic.

Free Traffic Source List
Quora is the most popular and best question and answer site where questions are asked, answered, edited, and organized by its community of users. Use Quora to drive traffic to your site by answering questions and leaving a link back to your site. The better and longer the answer, the more popular it will become. Popular answers will drive more traffic to your site!

  • Instagram is a popular social media platform which can be used to increase visitors to your website. To get the best results, as with most social media platforms, you'll need to develop a following.

  • Flipboard is another good source for blog and website traffic. Flipboard is a content discovery app and website. You create related boards and submit your articles. When other users find your articles interesting or useful, they will visit your site.

  • Reddit is the world's largest online community with subcategories called subreddits for almost pretty much every topic imaginable. Reddit site members, also known as Redditors, submit content which is then upvoted or downvoted by other members.

  • Pinterest is a social sharing, image search, and bookmarking site. You create boards and add pins related to those boards. When you create your pins, you can add a link back to your blog post. You can also repin other people's pins related to your board, which will get your board more views.

  • Medium is a very large and popular social publishing platform. If you want to give new life to your blog content and grow your audience, Medium can definitely help you. Anyone who has a Medium account can write for Medium, there's no other process involved. To get started, simply sign up for a free Medium account and you're ready to start writing or reposting your content.

  • Twitter is still a good source of fast traffic. Tweet your blog post at least 3 times, tweet different days at different peak times. Pin your tweets, pinned Tweets are the Tweets that stay at the top of your profile. When people visit your profile, the pinned Tweet is the first thing they see.

  • Facebook Groups is a great way to send traffic to your blog. Find and join relevant Facebook groups with the largest numbers of members. Create at least one Facebook group mostly for posting your article links. After you created a Facebook group, promote the group to increase your members.

  • GrowthHackers is a community of internet marketers. You can share your latest articles, and the community will like or dislike it in the form of upvote and downvote.

  • Well, that's it. My advice is to start with one or two traffic sources and see what works, then try more until you find out which ones work best for you.
