The Story of Us

‘Twas the night before Christmas,  last night's swipe made a match!

These two strangers met at a bar, no clue who they'd catch 

A Christmas Eve first date, a definite first! 

But home without kids just felt like the worst

He called ahead, Lou’s was open, he found with a grin

A dreamy patio sunset was planned, going in for the win!

But alas! Almost Christmas ! Half a drink in and they closed!

Thrown off of the plan,  that romantic first date got hosed.

In the parking lot they attempted to schedule a next date, 

3 weeks away was the soonest, another less than ideal fate.

But it had some potential, all the kids, very Brady! 

A modern twist on an old story, she became his lady!

They couldn’t stop chatting, a chorus of texts ringing 

One similarity after another, the invisible strings kept on stringing!

Fitting together so well and living parallel lives

Soon those 2 became 6 and we started to thrive

As we seal the deal, please join us this night! 

When we shall be married and all will be right ❤️
