This privacy policy governs your use of the Best Bike Computer application program (hereafter known as “Best Bike”) developed and sold by Rowlance.biz LLC.

Best Bike has the ability to obtain, display, record, export, and calculate data about bicycle rides and other exercise activities performed by the user of the application.

Information Obtained and Used by Best Bike

User-provided Information

Best Bike calculates calories burned during the bicycle ride. One parameter for this calculation that Best Bike uses is the weight of the rider. Best Bike obtains the weight of the rider through one of two methods:

1. The last entered value for weight obtained from the Apple[1] Health application. If the Health application is available on the device AND the user gives permission to obtain this value from the Health application AND a weight value is available, Best Bike will use this value.

2. Otherwise, Best Bike will use the value for weight that is set in the Best Bike Settings screen.

If you choose not to provide an accurate value for weight in one of these methods (that is, you decide to “opt out” of providing your actual weight), Best Bike will still function but the calculation for calories burned may be less accurate.

Automatically Collected Information

Best Bike collects information provided by the hardware on your device automatically in order to perform its intended function of tracking useful information about your bike ride. The information is collected between the time you start recording a trip (by touching the Start button on the “Current Trip” screen) and the time you end it (by touching the End button on the “Current Trip” screen). The following information is automatically collected or calculated from collected information:

· Your precise geographic location at the present time and the locations of where you have been.

· Your current speed.

· The average speed during your ride.

· The maximum speed during your ride.

· The distance you have ridden.

· How long you have been riding.

· Your compass heading.

· Your altitude.

· The change in altitude during your ride (difference between maximum and minimum altitude).

· The calories you have burned during the ride (calculated from your weight, average speed, and distance).

You may “opt out” of allowing Best Bike collect this information through the Settings application on your Apple device. To do this go to Settings, Privacy, Location Services, select Best Bike Computer and select “Never”. Please note that disabling Location Services for Best Bike will prevent it from recording information about bike rides.

The information automatically collected by Best Bike is stored in 1 or 2 locations on your Apple device:

1. The data storage area for the Best Bike application.

2. If the Apple Health application is available on the device AND you give permission to Best Bike to store information in the Health application, then Best Bike will write the following data to the Health application: cycling distances, active calories burned, and the fact that you have completed a workout.

You may “opt out” of allowing Best Bike to store this information in the Health application by denying permission to Best Bike when the screen requesting permission is presented.

Third Party Access to Information Obtained by Best Bike

Access to the information collected by Best Bike is solely controlled by the person that uses Best Bike and the Apple device that it runs on. Rowlance.biz LLC and any its members and employees do not have access to this information.

The collected information can be accessed by the user in the following ways:

· Displayed from the Best Bike “Previous Trips” screen.

· Exported or shared with other applications by touching the Export button on the “Previous Trips” screen and completing the process of exporting. This privacy policy does not govern the use of information that is exported or shared with another application.

· Viewed from the Health application if you have given permissions for Best Bike to store information in that application.

Data Retention Policy

Information collected by Best Bike will be retained in the data storage for Best Bike until it is uninstalled from the device or otherwise removed by facilities provided by the Apple device operating system.

When Best Bike is uninstalled from the device, the user also has the option to remove all data stored by Best Bike in the Health application.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. When it is updated, you may view the updated version at the same location you obtained this version from.

Your Consent

By installing and using Best Bike, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy. By giving Best Bike permission to use the location information provided by Apple device, you consent to the collection, use and display of this information. By giving Best Bike permission to read and/or write information to the Apple Health application, you consent to the reading and/or writing of this information to the Health application. By using the export feature of Best Bike, you acknowledge and agree that Rowlance.biz LLC has no responsibility or liability for the use of the information that is exported.
