You probably haven't seen an LED Headlamp, but you've probably thought that they look cool. Those were my impressions up until recently. I will admit that I am a sucker of gadgets. It's great to see the creative ideas of truly talented people!
Flashlights can be useful gadgets and should be available in every home and car. Flashlights are something I have always found fascinating. But, I didn't realize the utility of the LED Headlamp until recently.
My basement was full of junk, so I cleared it out this summer. As with most basements, there are some corners that are not well lit. It helps to have two hands when you're going through boxes of soon-to be-discarded items. Having a flashlight in one hand really slows down you. It wasn't long before I realized that I needed an LED Headlamp.
I selected a headlamp with six LEDs that offer four settings. There are four settings: floodlight, focused beam, floodlight combined focused beam with floodlight and night vision (red LED). The headband is elastic and foam padding protects the back. You can also adjust the angle of your headlamp LED Headlamps - A Hunters Best Tool.
My brother helped me load my belongings into the van he rented shortly after I bought my headlamp. After a long day of moving boxes and furniture, we went to the truck rental office to hook up a trailer to the truck. It was dark outside, it was dimly lit in the lot, and the rental agency employees were all gone. We were able to load the trailer faster than expected and finally got his car on the back. The headlamp was a great help in attaching the trailer. But that's only the beginning.
We decided to leave the town at 10:30 pm on Saturday night. It was a place where people don't want us to stay. As I was pulling my brother's truck (F150), out of town, I heard an awful sound coming from one my tires. I pulled over to find that I had a flat. It wasn't good news and I didn't want to wait around for anyone to fix it. There was a parking lot that I could park in and make the change.
Anyone who has ever changed a flat knows that you need both hands. It's difficult to see where someone needs you to point the flashlight if you're bent over looking under your car. I was able to use my LED Headlamp as a flashlight. This saved me time and made it easier to change the tires. This headlamp is very handy, I know!
