Carrier AC Review - Carrier Window, SpLIT, & Inverter AC

I stay on the top floor of a building, and in summer, the heat tends to get oppressive. That is why I decided to buy an air-conditioner to cool the room. On my friend’s advice, I decided to buy a Carrier AC on Amazon. I am very pleased with my purchase and have never had any negative experiences. One of the best things that we would love as a buyer is getting the same product with the same warranty at lower price and that deal is possible only at Amazon.

The product I bought was Carrier’s split AC, which I have been using for the last three years.

It has the following features:

• Its capacity is 1.5 tons, which is suitable for rooms sized between 110 to 150 sq ft

• It has an energy rating of three stars

• It has a dust filter, a dehumidifier, and an air purifier

• Copper condensing coil

• It has an additional PM 2.5 filter

• I got a remote control, user manual, and warranty card

I found the AC to be an excellent product and it has been working amazingly ever since I bought it.

Advantages Of Carrier AC

These are the advantages I experienced:

1. Efficient cooling: The AC cools up the room very fast, and there is very little delay time. The outdoor unit is large and is equipped with a big fan, which also speeds up the cooling. For the last three years, I have not experienced any issues with cooling. However, I ensure to get the AC servicing done every year so that the performance of the machine is enhanced.

2. Lower bills: I was surprised to find that the electricity bills were not as high. That shows how energy efficient it is and consumes only minimum electricity to cool the room. My room is very big, and it takes only a little time to cool up all the sides. The overall annual energy consumption is very low compared to other brands. It is also able to perform at its best even if there are voltage fluctuations and gives uninterrupted cooling

3. Very low noise: Even though the compressor is powerful and super-fast, there is only a minimum sound produced. I am able to sleep soundly and have never been disturbed

4. Amazing air filter: The air filter is very effective and removes all the dust and other pollutants. Pollutants less than 2.5M are not good for the respiratory system and can cause several health issues like allergy or asthma. The additional PM 2.5 filter ensures that even the minute pollutants are filtered. The good quality of air I breathe has also improved my health

5. Warranty: The company offers five years warranty on the compressor, one year on condenser, and one year on the product

6. Environmental friendly: I liked the fact that the AC has no ozone-depleting or global warming potential and is very safe for the environment.

7. Good installation service: Authorized technical personnel came to install the AC. They were very cooperative and provided me with information about all its features like how to use the remote, how to control the temperature, etc.

8. Auto off-timer: This is one feature that is very useful at night. You can set the timer to turn off the AC at a specific time, and this saves the trouble of having to get up while sleeping

9. Great dehumidifier: During the summer, the climate is very warm, and the humidity is more than 60%. During such a climate, the AC works beautifully and dehumidifies the room within a few minutes. It circulates dry and fresh air inside and removes the stickiness caused by humidity

10. Settings for different climates: The AC also has the feature of being set as per the weather you are having. You can set the cooling differently in dry weather or in humid climates.

11. Very efficient fan: The fans have a two-way action that ensures that air circulates in all directions inside and cools all the corners of the room

12. Copper condenser: The condenser is made from 100% copper which helps in greater heat transfer and faster cooling. They are rust-proof and therefore, also much more durable

Cons of Carrier Split AC & Window AC

• Delayed service: I had called the service centre to get an annual servicing done, but they did not arrive in time. I had to send them a reminder. It gets frustrating sometime. To alter this, I have found local ac service guys who does the same job with perfection.

If you are buying an AC, I would definitely recommend Carrier brand AC since their technology is very advanced and far ahead of its competitors. Its performance has always been exceptional, and I have never faced any issues regarding cooling or any other function.
