For those of you who don't know me already, this will be my ninth year here at BES. I started as the Reading Interventionist, but this will be my seventh year as the 4th grade teacher. I firmly believe in allowing and encouraging my students to be curious. My favorite things about 4th grade are all the great books we read, reading my student's writing and watching it get better throughout the year, social studies (of course!), and art projects!

fun facts about me

I have been married for 6 years now to the wonderful Mr. Lambert. 😉 I live in Franklin now, but am originally from the home of the groundhog, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

I love cooking AND baking, history, reading, arts and crafts, and sports. Mr. Lambert says I'm an expert shopper and two of my favorite stores are Target and Michaels! My favorite season is fall, but my favorite week is traveling to the beach with my family in the summer!

I graduated from Slippery Rock Pennsylvania with a teaching certificate for high school social studies. Then, while volunteer teaching through AmeriCorps for two years working with 4th and 6th grade students, I continued on to Clarion University for my master's degree as a reading specialist, which led me here to Pendleton County.
