About Us

Berry Sweet Acres is a new breeding program to POA located in southeastern MN, but the Andring family is not new to POA. Melissa and her daughters, Libby and Sophie have been showing POA since 2009 under the previous farm name, Easy Money Ranch.  Each year they have learned more about the crosses that make the best minded, most trainable ponies with the movement to match.  

Melissa and Berry Sweet Shenanigans crushed all of their goals in 2025; adding Congress and Futurity champion to Nani's resume. They continue to strive towards new goals in 2026 and beyond.  Also showing in 2026 will be Berry Sweet Jubilee making her debut in the walk trot under saddle.  She had an amazing in hand career and we look forward to chasing new goals with Lilo.  

Sophie is excited about her first foal out of Berry Sweet Endeavor, Berry Sweet Wonderland and hopes to bring her to show in the in hand events at the futurity held in Gordyville, IL in September.  Berry Sweet Endeavor will also be making her return to the show pen in 2026 once her 2026 foal is weaned.

Berry Sweet Acres continues to breed the best in the breed and works constantly to improve their foals.  2026 will be a crop to remember with new crosses, amazing bloodlines and a pony for everyone to choose from.
