We've been asked what people can do in lieu of sending flowers. Here are two suggestions of where to direct your generous impulse - thank you.

Bernie loved the theater immeasurably and his record of supporting the creative process and the alchemical work of making theater is without parallel. Lincoln Center Theater established the Bernard Gersten LCT Productions Fund upon his retirement and it will continue supporting LCT productions at the Beaumont and Newhouse Theaters and on Broadway:
