President
Hey everyone! I am excited to be the new president for the 2026-2028 board. I am really looking forward to bringing new ideas to the table, empowering members to take hold of what they want this PTO to look like, and bring a sense of community back to the schools.
I wanted to be apart of this board because I love helping and seeing the kids have fun at the events. I am a full time registered nurse, and mom of 2, with my oldest going into the fifth grade and youngest going into the preschool program. So I understand what it means to be busy and exhausted 😮💨 I just hope that we can meet people where they're at and encourage as many parents and guardians as possibly to help in any aspect that they can.
I love spending time with my family, friends, and our 2 dogs. I hope to see lots of new volunteers this year, especially on our committees!
Vice President
My name is Heather and I’m so excited and honored to serve as Vice President of PEACE!
I’m looking forward to working alongside our amazing members, teachers, staff, and families to help make a positive difference in our school community. I’m excited for the opportunity to support our students, bring new ideas to the table, and help create fun and meaningful experiences for everyone. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together this year!
Secretary
As a parent and lifelong resident of Berlin Township, I’m honored to join PEACE. I am thankful to be able to contribute to enhancing my children’s education and school experience, fostering a supportive environment and ensuring a brighter future for all students in our community.
Treasurer
I’m a JFK mom of two, with my oldest starting second grade this year and youngest going into pre-k! I joined the PEACE Board to be as involved with their educational experience as I can, and to lend a helping hand as much as possible for this volunteer crew. I work in finance, so spreadsheets and numbers are my jam. I love theater, baking, and yoga. I can't wait for this year, especially the holiday events with costumes and donuts!
JFK School Representative
Hello Everyone!
My name is Dawn and I’m so excited to be your JFK School Representative for the 2026-2027 school year.
My husband and I just celebrated our 23 year wedding anniversary, and we have 4 beautiful kids, who all attended Berlin Twp School District. I’m the proud grandmother of 5 (two of whom also attend our schools), and being their “Mammy” is one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m a die hard Phillies fan and baseball is a way of life in my family. My husband and I have volunteered as coaches since our kids were young.
Last year, I enjoyed getting involved with events like Pretzel Sales and Dine & Donates, which gave me an opportunity to interact with students and their parents as well as teachers and community members. I’m excited for another year of getting to work beside amazing people who also want to make this school year successful and engaging.
Supporting the hard working staff in Berlin Twp Schools has been so rewarding and I’m looking forward to creating more memories together. If you have an idea or suggestion you’d like to share, or you’d like to volunteer in PEACE, feel free to reach out!
Let’s have a great year!
DDE School Representative
Hi everyone!
My name is Deanna, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new DDE Middle School Representative!
I’m a wife and a proud mom of two wonderful kids, and I’m looking forward to getting more involved in supporting our students, teachers, and school community. While this is a new role for me, I’m excited to learn, grow, and work alongside other parents to make this school year fun, engaging, and successful for our middle school students.
I’m hoping to connect with parents who would like to get involved—whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little. Every helping hand and every new idea makes a difference! Together, we can create meaningful events, support our staff, and make middle school a positive experience for all of our kids.
I can’t wait to meet everyone and work together this year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to join the committee, share ideas, or simply say hello!
Looking forward to a great year!
Events Coordinator
Hey Hey!
I’m Ishita, and I am sooo excited to be your Events Coordinator this term! I love bringing people together, and I’m looking forward to planning some great events, making fun memories, and hopefully adding a little extra magic to the school year!
My husband and I have been together for 22 years, and we both grew up right here in the area. Somehow, we’ve officially come full circle and are now raising our own kids here too! Being involved in our schools & community is something I’m really passionate about, and I hope we can continue to grow together for the betterment of our schools and, most importantly, our students.
My goal as Events Coordinator is to foster a fun and inclusive environment at all our events, where everyone feels welcome, engaged, and part of the fun! Whether you know everyone in the room or you’re walking into your very first school event, I want there to be a place for you.
I love spending time with my family and trying new things, especially when it gives me an excuse to be a kid again! Fun fact: we are a very dog-obsessed family. We have two pups of our own, but I also foster for local rescues, so there’s a very real chance you could walk into my house and be greeted by four or five dogs. It’s a little chaotic, a lot furry, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
I’m so excited to meet new families, make new friends, and help create a school year full of moments our kids (and hopefully us grown-ups too!) will have a lot of fun looking back on.
Here’s to a great year together!
Membership Coordinator
Hi everyone! I’m Brittney, and I’m so excited and grateful to be part of PEACE!
I’m a mom to two amazing little boys, Caleb, who is in Pre-K, and Aiden, who is 5 months old. Watching Caleb begin his school journey has made me realize just how quickly these precious years go by. I want to be present, involved, and make as many special memories as I can along the way.
Joining PEACE is my way of giving back to our school community and being part of something bigger than just our own family. I’m looking forward to helping with events, supporting our teachers and staff, bringing families together, and—most importantly—helping create fun and meaningful experiences for our children.
I truly believe that it takes a village, and I’m so thankful to be part of a community that comes together for our kids. Whether I’m helping at an event, volunteering behind the scenes, or simply lending a helping hand, I’m happy to be involved in any way I can.
I’m excited to meet more families, make new friendships, and watch our children learn, grow, and make memories together.
Here’s to a wonderful school year filled with laughter, friendships, learning, and lots of special moments!
So excited to be on this journey with all of you!
