We are an all-girls robotics team made up of young programmers, engineers, and designers aged 11-13. Right now, we are working together to make the best robot possible to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge.
about the game
The game we are competing in this year is called DECODE. The goal is to launch different colored whiffle balls into a bin that takes them to a ramp. The ramp can be emptied of the balls or kept full. To earn additional points, you may arrange the balls in a specific order depending on the color code. As you get into the endgame, you may keep firing into the bins, or you can lift your robot using stilts as you park in the square so that another robot can fit under to earn more points.
Please review the game manual for further instructions.
So far this season, we have created numerous designs, begun developing our intake and deposit systems, ordered t-shirts, and discussed the game plan. We have started building our parts and are excited to continue, but we need your help to get the materials we need.
