Product Introduction:

Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI) is a high-purity, colorless, transparent liquid that serves as a unique solvent for cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications.

Product Effects:

1.Universal solubilizer 

Dissolves poorly soluble cosmetic actives and pharmaceutical APIs, including retinol, salicylic acid, UV filters, tranexamic acid 

and botanical extracts, and prevents active crystal precipitation. 

2. Mild skin penetration enhancer 

It temporarily and reversibly adjusts the lipid arrangement of the stratum corneum to facilitate active ingredients entering the 

epidermis. Unlike ethanol and DMSO, it does not severely damage the skin barrier and causes minimal irritation. 

3. Skin conditioning agent 

Non-comedogenic;  reduces skin dryness and irritation caused by high-concentration functional ingredients.
