Recently, I was looking back at some photos and realized the rich tapestry of experiences I've collected from a lot of places all over Korea! From the busy streets of Seoul to chill spots in Gwangju, I've had some pretty awesome times. Remembering all the tasty street food, beautiful places, and the super friendly people I've met along the way, I thought, "Why not share some of these stories?" So, here I am, about to dive into my Korean adventures. Stick around, and let's relive some of these moments together!
Donghaksa Temple was undeniably one of the most poignant experiences. Located within the serene landscapes of Gyeryongsan National Park, this temple was filled with an aura of peace and ancient wisdom. As I walked through its historic grounds, the intricate carvings, and the vibrant murals, each told stories of a rich spiritual heritage that spanned several centuries. The chants of the monks and the gentle rustling of the trees in the backdrop created an almost ethereal atmosphere. There is a harmonious blend of nature and spirituality and I recommend this place especially for those who live in daejeon and surroundings. The hike is not difficult either.
