Motivation

As a teenager I was very fond of Arcade Machines. As soon as I discovered the MAME project (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator), started by Nicola Salmoria in the late 90s, I wanted to have my own machine at home. I was aware that some people were performing restorations: sometimes keeping the original electronic circuits, and sometimes using a desktop computer instead, but I prefered something less "bulky". One day I discovered Bartop machines, and researching on the Internet I got to the Rasmus Kønig website; when I saw his project WeeCade, I decided it was time to build my own.

My inspiration: WeeCade by Rasmus Kønig.
