Resilience and Equity in the Berg-Breede Catchment: Workshop series for Transdisciplinary Research

Sheona is the Deputy Director of ACDI at UCT. She has worked at the interface of rural development, livelihoods and natural resource use and management for 35 years.

Nadia is a sustainability scientist at the Centre for Sustainability Transitions (CST) at SU, working at the science-policy interface on issues relating to social-ecological resilience with a specific focus on equity and gender.

Nadine is a Research Fellow at ACDI. Her research focuses on ecosystem based adaptation for sustainable lacndscapes and livelihoods.

Cherié is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the ACDI, University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa. Her current research is on equitable and sustainable nature-based solutions and multi-stakeholder engagement that strives for social upliftment by grounding research in local knowledge and contexts within climate-resilient African landscapes.

Pienaar is a landscape practitioner based in the Breede River Catchment, SA. His work with Living Lands focuses on building partnerships in the landscape that promote integrated catchment management, climate resilience, and regenerative agriculture.

Lucy is an independent consultant, experienced facilitator and a certified professional development coach, specialising in organisational development.

Leigh is an independent consultant who coordinates, researches and facilitates climate change education and curriculum development projects at ACDI.
