iPad - No Internet?

No Internet? Follow these steps:

(DO NOT CONNECT YOUR IPAD TO YOUR HOME WIFI OR ANY OTHER WIFI, YOUR IPAD HAS INTERNET)

1. Go to the Settings

2. Select Wifi

3. Turn off Wifi at the top right corner

4. Select the General section

5. Select Reset on the right side

6. Select Reset Network Settings

7. Enter your iPad password

8. Click on Reset

9. iPad will restart

10. Log in

11. Go to the Setting

12. Select Wifi

13. Turn off Wifi again at the top right corner

14. Press the Home button

15. Find the GlobalProtect App on the screen

16. Select Allow

17. Click on Skip if you see it

18. Click on Tap to Connect various time until it connects, it should turn green and show connected

19. Click on the X if you get an error saying Could not connect to portal. Please check the portal address or contact your IT administrator.

20. Click on the home button

21. Open Safari

Problem:

Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.

Solution:

Go to GlobalProtect, and tap on the circle various times until it connects.

Note: Give time for everything to load, at least the first time.

Checklist for a working iPad:

  1. No Wifi connection needed

  2. VPN active

  3. GlobalProtect connected
