Ben Weinkove
Madan Lal Puri Professor of Mathematics, Northwestern University
I received my PhD at Columbia University in 2004 under the supervision of D.H. Phong. I held positions as a Benjamin Peirce Assistant Professor at Harvard University, a Royal Society Research Assistant at Imperial College London and a faculty member at the University of California, San Diego, before arriving in Northwestern as Professor in January 2013. I served as department chair from September 2021 to September 2024.
My research work is on partial differential equations and geometric analysis.
Since 2017 I have been a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
