Ben Weinkove

I am a Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Northwestern University.  Since September 2021, I have been serving a three-year term as the Chair of Department.

I received my PhD at Columbia University in 2004 under the supervision of D.H. Phong. I held positions as a Benjamin Peirce Assistant Professor at Harvard University, a Royal Society Research Assistant at Imperial College London and a faculty member at the University of California, San Diego, before arriving in Northwestern as Professor in January 2013.

My research work is on partial differential equations and geometric analysis.

Since 2017 I have been a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
