I am a Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and a Senior Technical Adviser at the Centre for Tax Analysis in Developing Countries  (TaxDev). I also regularly work as a Tax Policy Advisor for the International Monetary Fund. 

My main field of research is public economics (especially tax and social protection in low and middle income countries), but I also work on topics in education economics and applied econometrics. I have a PhD in economics from the University of Oxford.
