“I sponsored a senior project at BYU-Idaho for the design and build of a noise cancelling helmet headset. During the course of the project during reports and planning sessions, Benton distinguished himself in all aspects of the project at hand. After the course I asked Benton to continue working on the project for me and he readily agreed. He worked for me on this complicated research and development project giving me a refined first round prototype. He was professional, competent, and preemptively identified problems and challenges presenting solutions for each one to make a viable and functional prototype. ”

The helmet headset is intended for use while snowmobiling. With this in mind there were a few requirements we needed to meet for the project.
Play music inside the helmet from a phone via Bluetooth.
Be able to pause, play, advance and reverse music.
Conduct radio communication between other advanced helmet headset devices.
Be able to answer an incoming phone call via Bluetooth.
Be noise cancelling enough to hear comfortably over the sound of snowmobile. Ideally cancel out all snowmobile noise.
Be weather proof for snowy and wet conditions.
