Performance in band focuses on the development of the basic techniques needed for performance on wind and percussion instruments.  Skills learned in this band provide the foundation for all other musical ensembles. 

The Jr. High Band performs in fall, winter and spring concerts.  In addition, band students will perform as an ensemble in the Illinois Grade School Music Association Organization Contest in the spring.  Students will also have the opportunity to audition for honor band festivals and perform at solo and ensemble contest(s).
