AcceptDance began in 2019 when Sydney Sandoval brought the joy of movement to elementary schools across Carbon County. Her vision was to create an inclusive space where every child could experience the fun and freedom of dance, regardless of ability or background.
In 2020, BlayrBennett carried that vision forward, expanding AcceptDance’s reach to the Castle Valley Center, a school dedicated to students with special needs. Under her guidance, the program continued to grow — building confidence, creativity, and connection through music and movement. Bryton Blake was able to represent it while Dance Sterling Scholar at Carbon High School.
Most recently, Bentley has stepped in to lead AcceptDance into its next chapter. Their passion and energy have kept the program thriving, continuing to inspire dancers of all abilities to express themselves, celebrate differences, and move with confidence.
AcceptDance has truly been a journey of inclusion, joy, and community — a reminder that everyone deserves a chance to shine on and off the dance floor.
