I have a PhD degree (Dr. Polit.) from the Universitetet of Oslo. I have worked on a wide number of topics within environmental and resource economics. The main fields of work in recent years have been household energy consumption, distribution analyses linked to energy expenditure and energy poverty, fire risk in Norwegian coastal heathland, and Norwegian fisheries. I have also previously worked with household recycling behaviour and analyses of fear of dental treatment, as well as cost-benefit analyses and valuation studies, which is the topic of my doctorate. I have also worked extensively with methods for aggregating micro behaviour. Consistent with all my research is microeconometric behavioural analyses on various topics.
