Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics.

My research lies at the intersection of development economics, environmental economics, and applied microeconomics. My work focuses on questions related to development, particularly health, education, environmental challenges, and institutional contexts in developing countries. I am particularly interested in how the everyday community can become a powerful policy engine, often helping transform low cost interventions to impactful drivers of change.

My research uses theoretical and empirical methods in applied microeconomics and causal inference to study how policy interventions influence behaviour and welfare outcomes.
