About

My name is Serena Alvarez and I am excited to be your PTO President for this school year, 2025-2026.  I served as the PTO Vice President last year and enjoyed everything about the position and what I learned.  It was great to get to know the teachers, staff, students and parents on a more personal level and be involved with the school. 

I am great at being a team player, organized, multitasker, creative and love to lend a helping hand when I can! 

I have 2 children, one will be in 2nd grade this year at Benson and the other a Senior at Foothill High School.  I have been married for 22 years, an Arizona native, love all things health/fitness related and have lived in Tustin for 6 years. 

I am super excited to make this the best year yet at Benson!
