PhD student in arithmetic geometry

Universität Freiburg (09.2024-present)

I began my PhD under the supervision of Annette Huber in September 2024. I work in arithmetic geometry, focusing on exponential periods and their relation to E-functions. 

I have studied a generalisation of exponential periods, roughly given by considering integrals of a class of E-functions. This work invokes the theory of D-modules with irregular singularities.

Before my PhD, I did Part III at Cambridge University, after studying physics for my undergraduate at Durham University.

Besides mathematics, I am a keen pianist and enjoy hiking, playing badminton and singing in my choir.
