I am an academic who writes about race and the politics of culture, amongst other things.

I am a Reader in Sociology at the University of Westminster and Director of the Centre for Social Justice Research. I am the author of The Politics of Multiculturalism (2009), Consuming Race (2014), and Back to the Stone Age (2022).
