Benoit Duvocelle

About me: 

I am currently a full time lecturer in mathematics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), in the Paris Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT), Shanghai, China.

Previously, I was an ATER (Attaché temporaire d'enseignement et de recherche) in Mathematics at Toulouse 1 (Toulouse School of Economics).

Until August 2020 I was a PhD candidate in Game Theory at the department of Quantitative Economics, Maastricht University, under the supervision of Dr. Mathias Staudigl, Dr. János Flesch and Prof. Dr. Dries Vermeulen. My PhD thesis is entitled ''Essays in Learning, Optimization and Game theory''.

Previously, I completed my BSc and my MSc in Foundametal Mathematics at the University of Paris-Saclay, and then my MSc in Optimization at the same place in 2017. I also got a teaching qualification (Agrégation de mathématiques) in 2016.

My research interests: Game Theory, Optimization, Learning, Voting rules.
