Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in Strategy and Entrepeneurship at Nova SBE in Portugal. My research examines how firms innovate and compete globally by moving knowledge across boundaries—between units, firms, and countries. Anchoring my research in practice, I collaborate with firms in various industries to reveal how they can turn dispersed knowledge into sustained competitive advantage.

My work has appeared in leading academic outlets, including the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Global Strategy Journal, Journal of Management Studies, and has been featured in INSEAD Knowledge and in the Harvard Business Review. I am on the Editorial Board of the Global Strategy Journal and I was a Representative-at-Large for the Global Strategy Interest Group of the Strategic Management Society.

Previously, I was a research associate at Ecole Polytechnique and a visiting scholar at INSEAD and Stanford University. I received my PhD from WU Vienna and Master degrees from Copenhagen Business School and from CEMS. I lived, studied or worked in France, Germany, Denmark, Hong Kong, Austria, the USA, and Portugal.
