So i did not see poweriso as a supported program for playonlinux, nor did i find a current thread on this particular program, however i installed it anyway and it is working rather flawlessly except for one thing ive noticed so far.

When i go to make a bootable USB (which was the whole reason i installed poweriso) it will not find any of my usb drives. However if i go to burn a file to CD/DVD it does see both of my actual disk drives (CD/DVD drives). I was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I want to make this work because i want to be able to make bootable usb drives using .DMG files without having to go to OSX or Windows to make it. Poweriso supports this feature in the windows release but it seems that it is not supported in the linux release, which is why im opting to run it on playonlinux. That and i have a license for it, which doesnt seem to be usable on the linux version either.

This is normally done by having a single wim file and multiple indices. Then that single wim is stored in the sources directory as install.wim. From there, Windows installer (boot.wim) lists out each index as a separate install option, like below:

Here is my problem. Previously I have 3-4 wim files and I was able to get the USB drive to boot with no problems. Now, I added more OS' by taking the iso using poweriso and creating virtual cd drives. Then importing the OS that way. Now that I have done that the ISO, once creating on the USB drive, will get to the MDT task sequence page and restart the computer. What could I be doing wrong?

Correct, I had the media working with 4 OS's, but they were ALL wim files. When I imported the OS, I had the "Full set of Source files" option selected from within MDT. I only used poweriso to create a "virtual" cd drive so that I could use the source files option. Sorry for the confusion, hope that clears it up.

In this post you will learn how to extract specific windows index from Windows 10 multiple edition ISO. As Microsoft offering Windows 10 multiple editions ISO containing Windows 10 Education, Enterprise and other.

The Windows Imaging (WIM) having more size of 4GB. It does not allow creating a bootable USB stick with the FAT32 File system to boot UEFI System that has a maximum supported file size of 4GB. After extracting the image into a specific index, it can handle an image having more than the size of 4GB when installing a windows image from USB. be457b7860
