One of my passions is going to the gym. I grew up playing sports such as football, soccer, and track. Since I had been out of sports for a while, I found myself missing the physical activity aspect that had been a part of my life for so long. I started going to the gym during my junior year in high school which also happened to be one of the two covid years. There wasn't much to do during this time, so I found myself in the gym for most of covid. Since then I've been consistent and have found that it is a great way to focus and regroup before or after a long day. I then graduated from Cleveland High School and I am now in my second year at UNM. In my first year out of high school, I also attended UNM but I was pursuing a different major; Business Administration. I realized that Business wasn't the major for me and switched over to CNM studying Computer Information Systems with a focus in Cyber Security. I then got a job at Sandia National Labs and started talking with a lot of employees who had graduated from UNM and other schools around the states... Every single one of them advised me that there is an abundance of careers in Computer Science. Since I already had a basic knowledge of computers from CNM, I switched back to UNM and declared my Major in Computer Science. Now, Composition One English is part of my degree path and I will store my work here. This will be a place where the instructor and all of my peers can view my current and future work, serving as a place of reflection and collection of my works through English.
