Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School
Ph.D. College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, South Korea, 2023
B.Sc, Pharm.D. in College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, South Korea, 2017
Dr. Min-Jun Baek earned his doctoral degree in pharmaceutical sciences, specializing in drug delivery systems. His research primarily focused on developing renal-clearable cyclodextrin nanocarriers for selective delivery of anticancer agents to tumors. Following the completion of his Ph.D., he continued his work by concentrating on engineering renal-clearable nanocarriers and near-infrared fluorophores for image-guided interventions in anticancer therapy.
In March of 2024, Dr. Baek joined the Bioengineering & Nanomedicine Program (BENMD) at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Within the Choi lab, he is a member of the image-guided drug delivery system (iDDS) team. His research is centered on nano-bio interactions and tailoring the in vivo fate of polymeric nanomaterials, with a focus on their application in disease diagnosis and treatment.
