During her MBBS studies, Aida conducted research on lanthanoid upconversion nanoparticles with an outmost PEG-containing layer in animal xenograft models.
In July 2024, Aida joined the Bioengineering & Nanomedicine Program (BENMD) at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. In the Choi lab, she is currently working with the team developing immuno-oncology imaging and performing clinical translation studies. Her current research investigates both targeting and imaging using zwitterionic nanocarriers in vivo mouse models.
