About Me

I am a first year math PhD student at UC Berkeley. I graduated from UC Davis in 2025 with a major in mathematics. I am from Portland, Oregon (the Oregon coast is pictured above). 

My current research is broadly in annular link theory. I have worked on the categorified wrapping number conjecture, a conjecture in annular Khovanov homology, with Melissa Zhang. I am also trying to extend virtual quandle invariants to annular links in search of more methods to detect braid closures.
