Fiscal Sustainability Report
The Fiscal Sustainability Report published by the Swiss Federal Department of Finance is a flagship report that goes beyond the budget, the financial plan and the medium-term perspectives to provide a comprehensive view of public finances in the long run and to highlight the need for fiscal action. The policy focus of the 2024 issue is on the fiscal impact of population ageing (including health) and the energy transition, using long-run projections of public finances until 2060 for all levels of government and social security funds.GermanFrenchItalian- Selected talks (Slides): Workshop Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action (CFMCA), Helsinki Principle 4, CFMCA Forum on the Macroeconomics of Green and Resilient Transitions, OECD Paris Collaborative on Green Budgeting, Finance Commissions of the National Council (FK-N) and the Council of States (FK-S), Federal Chancellery (BK), Specialist Group for Cantonal Financial Issues (FkF), ETH Zurich, Swiss National Bank, DACH Klima & Energie, FSR Climate Annual Conference, USI Workshop in Sustainabile Economics, PEMPAL Plenary Meeting, Media Seminar, Federal Finance Administration Brown Bag Series.
