The Career that I have decided to pursue is Engineering. I decided on this career when I got a field trip to the tech center in 9th grade. (Dr. James A Forrest Career and Technology Center) This Career caught my attention the first time when I saw the things that they made. At this moment I wanted to learn more about this career. It was then I had the opportunity to choose in my ATEX year as part of my four choices. in 10th grade. The classes that I have taken so far that I feel will help me in achieving my main goal are the classes of CADD (Computer-Aided Designs and Drafting) and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. I learn many things and skills with machines and new skills with the computer programs in these two classes and this gave me a previous experience for my future career. I have participated in many extracurricular activities where they have taught me many things among them they have taught me the value of team work, follow instructions and a clear goal and plan, to get to the end and achieve your goal, I have been employed twice for part time for a short time where they have taught me the value of doing what you do enjoying and being positive always with a clear goal to achieve your main objective. after finishing high school my plans are to enter a university for 4 years, because I know that it can help me to broaden my knowledge in the world of engineering. I think that this will not affect in a very direct way but in the long term, this will help my society to improve populations or create new things as a result of this project, when I achieve my dream I would like to have an impact on the earth that will improve and achieve new things and improve the world, I would like to have a positive impact to achieve new things and create things that are reusable and self-generating.
