Dr Benfei WANG received the B.Sc. degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), China, in 2011. Then he received the Ph.D. degree from School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2017. 

From 2017 to 2019, he worked as postdoc research fellow in the Energy Research Institute @ NTU, under the supervision of Prof. Hoay Peng GOOI (IEEE Fellow). Since May 2019, he is an Associate Professor in the School of Intelligent Systems Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), Shen Zhen, China. His research interests include microgrids, energy storage system, electric vehicles and power electronics advanced control. He has widely collaborated with the scholars including Prof. Jose RODRIGUEZ (IEEE Life Fellow) and Prof. Hoay Peng GOOI (IEEE Fellow).

He is the Senior Member of IEEE, the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, the Guest Associate Editor of IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Industrial Electronics, the Supervisor of Guangdong Power Supply Society, the technical committee member, organizer and session chair of special issues in several IEEE conferences, the reviewer of IEEE TIE, TII, TSG, TSTE and TTE, the author of more than 80+ refereed papers, including 30+ top-tier IEEE transactions papers. His Google Scholar Citation is 2000+.
