Each school chose a bildungsroman for their students to read in their mother tongue. The novel was from the country the school is situated in. We, as students, developed and applied deep reading strategies while analyzing and discussing texts. We also reflected on our reading and the difficulties we overcame. In addition, the concept of bildungsroman was discussed and we were engaged in creative writing and produced a new chapter to the bildungsroman"Benedict's Thresholds" which was turned into a short digital reading resource - a Twitter novel.
