A lying spirit is an evil influence that promotes deception, falsehood, and rebellion against God's truth. Satan is the father of lies, and those who continually embrace lies open themselves to his influence rather than the Spirit of God (John 8:44, NKJV). God calls His people to walk in truth because He is the God of truth. A lying spirit destroys trust, weakens faith, and leads people away from righteousness. Believers must reject every form of deception, speak the truth in love, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide their words and actions.
