A person who cannot receive correction cannot grow. Many destinies have been delayed or destroyed because of pride, stubbornness, and the refusal to listen. God gives wisdom to the humble, but those who reject godly counsel often walk into unnecessary failure.
Every believer must develop a teachable spirit. God speaks through His Word and also through wise, mature people. Receiving godly advice is not a sign of weakness—it is a mark of wisdom and spiritual maturity. Test every counsel by the word of God, embrace what is true, and reject pride. Those who love correction grow in knowledge, make wiser decisions, and fulfill God's purpose with greater understanding.
