This book reminds me that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The author had a lot of things happen in her life from a very early age that could have shaped her into a not so great adult. But instead she literally dragged herself from the bottom and has completely changed her life around and is now sharing her experiences in hopes to help others.
While reading this book it made me remember and reflect on a lot of similar instances of my own life. My husband has "dedicated " the song Beauty in the Struggle by Bryan Martin to me, and I think it would also be a fitting song for this author.
