Father Involvement
Dads and father figures of all kinds, we got your back! Ben Archer Health Center has a Father Involvement Program designed just for you! Fathers are an essential part of their children’s lives. Children with involved fathers get better grades and are more likely to graduate from high school and less likely to engage in risky behaviors like drugs and alcohol. They’re more independent, manage their emotions better, are less violent, and have higher levels of empathy than kids whose dads aren’t involved. Boys with good male role models learn positive and respectful ways to treat women in their lives. Girls with involved positive father figures learn self-respect and what they should expect from the men in their lives. Safe Sleep Baby Kit
The safe sleep baby kit is free to expectant parents and caregivers of new babies regardless of income, citizenship status, or family structure. A safe sleep kit contains materials to foster a safe sleep environment in a variety of spaces. The kit includes the following: travel bassinet or bassinet, infant clothing, baby board books, and educational resources. Are you looking for an affordable one stop doctor's office for you and your family?
Ben Archer Health Center (BAHC) provides a full scope of medical services, including well-woman and well-child visits, immunizations, sick care, x-ray and injury care, and more. BAHC also has excellent dental services, behavioral health, a full pharmacy, and social services. BAHC has a variety of financial eligibility programs to assist you in paying for your care. You could pay little or nothing for your health care services. For more information, or for assistance in scheduling an appointment please contact your nearest Ben Archer Health Center.
Eligibility
Do you or someone in your family need assistance in applying for or renewing your Medicaid? Are you pregnant, do you want to know if you qualify for pregnancy-related Medicaid? A Welcome Baby Program home visitor can assist in enrolling and renewing Medicaid and Food Stamps applications as well as other social services programs. For assistance on completing or renewing your Medicaid application complete the contact form below and a home visitor will contact you.
