Design and strategic foresight are powerful tools for navigating ambiguity and complexity. Supporting CFPC leadership through problem exploration and future scenario development led to profound sense-making for the team, helping them understand the options available regarding the best strategy for the College—whether in-person, hybrid, or remote workforce models.
Design and strategic foresight are powerful tools for navigating ambiguity and complexity. Supporting CFPC leadership through problem exploration and future scenario development led to profound sense-making for the team, helping them understand the options available regarding the best strategy for the College—whether in-person, hybrid, or remote workforce models.
The resulting scenarios—CFPC Metaverse, Meet in the Middle, Downsizing Dilemma, and Doubling Down—became key reference points for the group, ensuring they were envisioning the same future reality. These scenarios also enabled them to effectively communicate their vision of the organization’s future to their staff and membership.
