[BEMS] for the data collection of the biomedical equipment information from all the seven provinces of Nepal. Biomedical Equipment Management System is a biomedical equipment inventory system of all the government hospitals in the country for the resource planning, repair and maintenance of the Biomedical equipment in the country developed by the Ministry of Health and Population [MoHP]. BEMS provides real time information about the biomedical equipment available in the hospitals and its associated information. Through BEMS, the public can access information regarding the availability of the equipment in the government hospitals.

STRENGTHENING HEALTH SYSTEM THROUGH TRAINED BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERS
STRENGTHENING HEALTH SYSTEM THROUGH TRAINED BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERS
Mission Oxygen Team [MOT] worked on hands-on training on biomedical equipment to biomedical Engineers in support of UNDP. This was one of the first of its kind happening here in Nepal. Where we focused to train the Biomedical Engineer in “Strengthening Health System through Trained Biomedical Engineers”. This training was firstly focused for the biomedical Engineers of Bagmati Province, Madhesh Province and Lumbini Province in its first phase. Basically the training was for 5 days in which we provided training on ICU Equipment, OT Equipment, Sterilization Equipment, Medical Imaging Equipment, Clinical Pathology Equipment and their hazards and safety measures.
